Santa stopped by the Deering Town Hall on Saturday, 19 December! The thirty-or-so kids who were there were able to convince the old Elf that they'd been good during the year and could present him with their Christmas wishes. Roger Tincknell, a very talented musician and performer who has helped Deering celebrate Christmas for many years, once again filled town hall with music, joy and dancing. There were several opportunities for kids to transform salt dough, sugar cones and tongue depressors into original and beautiful Christmas ornaments. Older kids enjoyed using crayons again to color pages of Christmas bells, wreaths and nutcrackers. The chldren of ALL AGES, from 1 to 97, had a great time. We will do this again next year!
