The library is located year round on the second floor of the town hall. Our seasonal school house library is open during the summer.

READ SOME BOOKS, GO TO A BASEBALL GAME!

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats have teamed up with the TD Bank to bring you a Summer Reading Program!

This summer maybe your kids will have summer jobs but surely there will be time for fun -- and time for reading books that are NOT assigned by a teacher. At the Deering Public Library for sure we will continue with Story Hour on alternate Saturday mornings (watch the Town Crier or sign at Town Hall for the next Story Hour). But certainly your kids are going to be reading, and the TD Bank/Fisher Cats partnership this summer will encourage and award all kids who do read with two (2) Fisher Cats tickets, courtesy of TD Bank when he/she reads 5 books.

Here's how it works:
   1) A child reads five (5) books this summer.
   2) She/He prints out the Summer Reading Form on the community page at www.nhfishercats.com. The kids' parent or guardian will sign the list of books.
   3) Once completed, please mail in the form (address below) or stop by the Fisher Cats Box Office   to select the game She/He wants to attend.  Note that certification must be redeemed to the Box Office two weeks prior to the selected game in order to receive the tickets for the game. Note also that additional tickets are available at $9.00 per ticket.

Address to mail completed certificates:
